Environmental Dangers and Eruption styles

Crater lake's wizard island is explosive but does not damage much farther then crater lake and does not happen very often. The type of lava that comes out of wizard island is usualy silic lava flows, and usauly realy vicous so the lava moves slowly. the most damaging thing to people from wizard island is a pyroclastic flow because it reaches farther away from crater lake and moves quickly. also wizard island acationaly has hydrothermal acticity as in hydrothermal vents. after an eruption ash clouds will cover some of crater lake but will not go into any towns. the only damage crater lake does to any towns or roads is from pyroclastic flows that will rip tear and kill anything in is path. other than pyroclastic flows there are alot of earthquakes from crater lake at magnitudes at 5.9 and 6.0 alot that are damaging to the towns and they soften the soil around the towns and create liquafaction, damaging towns even worse.
